Trust Stamp files “WOW” trademark for consumer-facing biometric wallet platform

Trust Stamp Inc (NASDAQ:IDAI, ISE:AIID) announced that it has filed a trademark application for “WOW” with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the consumer-facing version of its biometrically secured “Wallet of Wallets” product.

The company said the product is designed to provide a single access point for multiple digital asset wallets, including stablecoin-focused use cases.

Trust Stamp said the platform is non-custodial and accessible across multiple devices, using a proprietary StableKey generated from tokenized facial biometrics with proof-of-life protocols.

The system aims to eliminate the need for passwords, PINs, and private keys, and introduces a cryptosystem that binds live biometric authentication to a user’s wallet without storing biometric data in the wallet itself.

The company said the architecture is designed to be resistant to tampering in the event of a data breach and incorporates zero-knowledge proof protocols for remote identity verification.

The platform is intended to support features such as wallet recovery, joint ownership, inheritance or transfer, and role-based access, and can interoperate with FIDO Passkeys, the company added.

Trust Stamp CEO Gareth Genner pointed to estimates that billions of people currently use digital wallets and that hundreds of billions of dollars in digital assets may be inaccessible due to lost credentials or owner deaths. He said the company expects the problem to grow as stablecoin usage expands.

“While our WOW brand is focused on consumer subscribed wallets, the Wallet of Wallet technology can also be implemented on a white-labeled basis by our financial institution and nation-state customers,” Genner noted.
