Carnavale Resources Ltd CEO Humphrey Hale talked with Proactive about the commencement of Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) drilling at the company’s Kookynie Gold Project in Western Australia, marking a major step toward development.
Hale explained that drilling activities are already underway, with the first rig mobilised to carry out metallurgical drilling. This program is designed to collect large-diameter core samples for crushing and grinding test work, which will feed directly into the BFS. Two reverse circulation rigs are also being deployed to undertake infill drilling, aimed at improving resource confidence and reducing operational risk during the early years of mining.
