Hardide shares rise on latest North America order, as results now seen ahead of expectations

Hardide PLC shares moved up in Tuesday's early deals after it received a follow-on order worth US$1 million from a North American customer.

The order is expected to be delivered in the second half of the financial year, and Hardide said it now anticipates FY26 financial performance will be ahead of previous expectations.

“We are delighted to have secured this significant new sales order, which further evidences the strength of the relationship we are developing with our new North American customer," said chief executive Matt Hamblin.

He added: “Discussions are ongoing as to how Hardide can support the customer's business development ambitions later this year and thereafter.”

Hardide said it intends to start an infrastructure upgrade programme during FY26 at its Martinsville plant, to improve operational efficiency and support higher demand, funded by proceeds of the new order and existing resources.

In London, Hardide shares were up 24.31%, changing hands at 19.89p.
