EnWave Corp (TSX-V:ENW, OTC:NWVCF, FRA:E4U) announced that it has signed a royalty-bearing commercial license with Bowen Gumlu Grower’s Association (BGGA), a horticultural industry body representing growers and agribusinesses in North Queensland, Australia.
Under the agreement, BGGA plans to use EnWave’s Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) dehydration technology to develop and produce tropical fruit snacks and ingredients.
As part of the arrangement, BGGA has acquired a 10kW REV machine from EnWave’s Australian third-party reseller, Scitek, to support commercial product development and early-stage manufacturing. The equipment is expected to be commissioned before April 2026.
EnWave said its technical and food science teams will collaborate with BGGA to optimize processing and product quality in preparation for the launch of commercial products by BGGA’s members.
The company noted that the scale of BGGA’s membership and production volumes could lead to additional REV equipment sales as commercialization progresses.
BGGA is a regional industry body representing horticultural growers, producers, and associated agribusinesses in North Queensland. The Bowen Gumlu region is the largest producer of winter vegetable crops in Queensland, with farm gate production valued at approximately A$650 million annually.
