Resolution Minerals reports major gold discovery at Golden Gate

Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML, OTC:RLMLF, FRA:NC3) has released its quarterly activities report for the period ended December 31, 2025, highlighting a major gold discovery from its maiden diamond drilling program at the Golden Gate North Prospect in the US.

All diamond drill holes completed at Golden Gate North during the quarter intersected significant gold mineralisation, with the prospect remaining open in all directions at quarter end.

Meanwhile, Horse Heaven continues to emerge.

“The Horse Heaven Project is emerging as a multi-commodity, district-scale opportunity. Positioned at the intersection of US critical minerals policy, private capital inflows, and national defense priorities, and now with a gold discovery underpinning its tremendous economic potential, the Horse Heaven Project is emerging as a generational opportunity and globally important asset for Resolution,” Resolution Minerals executive director, Aharon Zaetz said.

Golden Gate Project – Gold discovery

Resolution said the maiden diamond drilling program confirmed extensive, continuous gold mineralisation from surface, with long intercepts reported across every hole drilled.

The standout result came from hole HH-GG25-003C, which returned a downhole interval of 253.0 metres at 1.50 gram per tonne (g/t) gold from surface to 253.0 metres, ending in mineralisation. This included higher-grade zones of 111.9m at 2.31g/t gold from 130.5m and 18.3m at 3.98g/t gold from 149.4m, with a peak assay of 5.91g/t gold over 1.5m.

  • Hole HH-GG25-002C intersected 265.2m at 0.60g/t gold from surface to end of hole, including 89.9m at 1.15g/t gold from 121.9m.
  • Hole HH-GG25-004C returned 240.8m at 0.64g/t gold from surface to end of hole, including 61.6m at 0.98g/t gold from 40.5m and 35.8m at 0.83g/t gold from 119.5m.

Meanwhile, HH-GG25-005C intersected 283.5m at 0.36g/t gold from surface to end of hole, including multiple higher-grade intervals such as 4.7m at 1.18g/t gold from 10.1m and 42.5m at 0.72g/t gold from 65.7m.

Resolution also referenced earlier results from HH-GG25-001C, previously reported, which returned 189.2m at 1.30g/t gold from 34m, ending in mineralisation. This included 12.9m at 2.32g/t gold from 94.4m and 70.8m at 2.24g/t gold from 128.8m.

A shallow, three-hole reverse circulation drill program was completed during the quarter to follow up the diamond drilling results.

Antimony and tungsten strategy

Beyond gold, Resolution continued to advance its US critical minerals strategy at the Horse Heaven project.

During the quarter, the company entered into a binding sale and purchase agreement to acquire 25 acres of private land adjacent to Horse Heaven, known as the Johnson Creek Tungsten & Antimony Mill and Antimony Camp properties.

Resolution engaged Kingston Process Metallurgy Inc to undertake characterisation, concentration and pyrometallurgical test work on high-grade antimony samples from Antimony Ridge, while Independent Metallurgical Operations was appointed to deliver test work across low-grade antimony, tungsten from Johnson Creek and gold samples from Golden Gate.

The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation’s minerals division was also engaged to complete hydrometallurgical test work on high-grade antimony samples from Antimony Ridge.

To support this work, Resolution appointed Dr Adam Roper as chief metallurgist to lead metallurgical studies across the portfolio.

Corporate and strategic engagement

Subsequent to quarter end, Resolution appointed Tribeca Capital as corporate adviser to assist with further development of its US critical minerals strategy.

The company also briefed the Australian Embassy in Washington DC on the Horse Heaven project ahead of discussions between Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and US President Donald Trump focused on critical minerals supply chains.
