Janus Electric Holdings Ltd (ASX:JNS) has appointed Peter Koller as a non-executive director, effective immediately, after the resignation of Saurabh Jain.
Koller holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Finance) from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from The Securities Institute of Australia.
He worked in investment banking through the late 1980s and 1990s and gained experience in commodities stocks, index and options trading and hedging in Australian futures markets. Janus said Koller later helped establish and market the Whitehaven Correlation Fund and held a senior advisory role in capital raisings via Pulse Markets.
The company said Koller has supported Janus since its IPO last year and will help “accelerate market awareness” for Janus Electric and the heavy vehicle electrification sector.
Chair Tony Fay said the board welcomed the appointment, noting Koller represents a “supportive major shareholder”, and said his experience and background would be valuable in progressing the business.
Company secretary appointment: Jade Cook takes up role
Janus has also appointed Jade Cook as company secretary, effective today, following the resignation of Andrew Palfreyman.
The board thanked Palfreyman for his services.
Cook has worked with boards, senior management and stakeholders in both in-house and outsourced roles across multiple jurisdictions. She is an associate of the Governance Institute of Australia and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in corporate governance.
Cook will be responsible for communications between Janus and the ASX.
