Valereum inks collab with Injective Foundation and DigiShares

Valereum PLC (AQSE:VLRM, FRA:6TJ) announced it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Injective Foundation and DigiShares Inc, which sets a framework for collaboration across the Injective blockchain, the Valereum ecosystem and the DigiShares platform

Together, the parties aim to deliver compliant real-world asset tokenisation, secondary trading and ecosystem development, Valereum said.

"I'm extremely excited about our collaboration with Injective Foundation and DigiShares, which brings together institutional-grade regulated market infrastructure, best-in-class issuance technology and a leading Layer-1 blockchain to advance real-world asset tokenisation," VLRM commercial director Mark Mariampillai.

The company added that the initial work will focus on integrating Injective’s EVM-compatible Layer-1 with the DigiShares primary issuance platform. The stated aim is to allow real-world assets issued through DigiShares to be minted onto Injective, subject to technical and regulatory review.

VLRM Markets, the company's licensed and regulated Digital Asset Service Provider in El Salvador, will support a multi-chain issuance strategy.

The parties will also explore secondary trading for qualifying RWA tokens using Injective’s on-chain order book and decentralised exchange infrastructure. They will evaluate market-making and liquidity support initiatives, alongside work to attract institutional and professional buy-side participation.

Mariampillai added: "The initial focus will be on primary issuance, starting with Wageen and an expected TVL on-chain of up to $20 million, followed by a broader pipeline across multiple asset classes. As the partnership develops, we see a clear path to integrating on-chain secondary trading and DeFi-enabled use cases, positioning Valereum at the centre of the next phase of growth in the RWA sector."

DigiShares chief executive Claus Skaaning, meanwhile, added: "This collaboration brings together regulated market infrastructure, institutional issuance technology, and decentralised trading capabilities.

"Working alongside Valereum and Injective allows us to expand interoperable RWA issuance options for issuers, while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and scalability."
