Atlantic Lithium Ltd (AIM:ALL, ASX:A11, OTCID:ALLIF), in its quarterly activities report, told investors it submitted the revised mining lease for the Ewoyaa lithium project to Ghana’s parliament for ratification, and it is now awaiting progress in the coming weeks.
It followed a consultation period and includes fiscal terms aligned to current legislation.
The company noted that the lease is now awaiting review by a select committee, with parliament set to reconvene on 3 February 2026.
It also reported exploration progress in Côte d’Ivoire, where Phase 4 soil sampling has commenced across the Agboville licence. New spodumene pegmatite occurrences were identified at Rubino, alongside lithium-in-soil anomalies spanning several kilometres across both licences.
“Following a temporary period of consultation, we are pleased that the revised Ewoyaa Mining Lease was submitted to Parliament before its adjournment for the festive period. With Parliament set to reconvene on 3 February, and with the Project's royalty rate and the Growth and Sustainability Levy now aligned to current legislation in Ghana, we remain confident that ratification of the Mining Lease will be forthcoming in accordance with due process,” said chief executive Keith Muller.
Atlantic Lithium continues to seek non-dilutive funding options to accelerate exploration at Agboville and Rubino. At the end of the quarter, cash stood at A$5.4 million.
