Orosur Mining shares up on exploration update

Orosur Mining Inc (AIM:OMI, TSX-V:OMI) shares gained 8% after an update which outlined exploration activity, highlighting that infill drilling continued at its Pepas gold prospect at its Anzá project in Colombia, as it works toward a NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate.

Orosur said: “As anticipated, drilling results have firmed up the Pepas deposit and provided a better definition of the nature of the thick, high-grade mineralisation.”

The company added that the Pepas resource estimate is anticipated by the end of January 2026.

At El Cedro, about 10 kilometres south of Pepas on the same licence, the company said it completed a large-scale soil geochemical survey with samples taken at roughly 25 metres intervals, and recorded assays at times exceeding 1 g/t Au.

Orosur also said it has earned a direct 51% interest in Deseado Dorado S.A.S, the Argentine company holding the El Pantano Project licences in Santa Cruz province, and that a 3,000 metre drill programme commenced in November and is expected to conclude in early 2026.

Orosur said it had a cash balance of US$16.28 million at the end of November, and noted it completed an oversubscribed brokered private placement in October that raised CAD$20 million with no warrants issued.

In London, Orosur shares were up 8.46% changing hands at 40.4p.
