AuMEGA Metals Ltd non-executive chair Justin Osborne talked with Proactive about the company’s focused exploration strategy in Newfoundland, Canada, where it controls a 110km stretch along the highly prospective Cape Ray-Valentine Shear Zone. This zone also hosts Equinox Gold’s 5Moz Valentine Gold Project, which recently entered commercial production.
Osborne explained that AuMEGA has been conducting diligent greenfields exploration over the past five to six years, positioning the company to begin drill testing several high-potential anomalies by mid-2026. “We’re out there looking for large-scale gold deposits — something like Valentine, something in the 5 million ounce type deposits,” he said.
