Ore Resources extends Forrest gold lodes at Miriam after Phase 3 RC assays

Ore Resources Ltd (ASX:OR3) has reported assays from Phase 3 reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Forrest prospect within its Miriam Project in Western Australia’s Goldfields, outlining new strike and down-dip extensions across multiple interpreted lodes in both oxide and fresh rock.

Results are now in for all 16 holes (about 3,000m) completed in Phase 3, a follow-up to Phase 1 and Phase 2 drilling that targeted continuity along strike and at depth within the Forrest lode system.

Key intercepts: deeper extensions at FGRC047

The strongest Phase 3 result was delivered by hole FGRC047, which returned:

  • 20 metres at 2.27g/t Au from 183 metres, interpreted as an approximately 50 metres down-dip extension of earlier mineralisation (linked to FGRC024); and
  • 12 metres at 1.23g/t Au from 108 metres–119 metres, interpreted as an approximately 90 metres down-dip extension (linked to FGRC025).

FGRC047 also intersected a separate deeper zone, returning 4m at 2.92g/t Au from 213m, described as a new fresh rock lode.

Southern step-outs add strike length in fresh rock

On the southern side of the drilled area, Phase 3 results included additional fresh rock intercepts, including:

  • 18 metres at 2.25g/t Au from 66 metres in FGRC043, including 6 metres at 5.05g/t Au from 72 metres; and
  • 10 metres at 2.17g/t Au from 124 metres in FGRC046.

Forrest Plan View with significant Phase 3 drill results.

These holes represent the southernmost drilling at Forrest to date, extending the interpreted strike by about 100 metres. The mineralised trend remains open along strike and at depth.

Oxide extension confirmed and projected into untested ground

Phase 3 drilling also tested the extension of shallow oxide mineralisation previously intersected in Phase 1 (including FGRC004, previously reported at 33 metres at 2.80g/t Au from 35 metres).

The standout oxide intercept came from FGRC038, which returned 25 metres at 3.01g/t Au from 36 metres, including 3 metres at 8.45g/t Au from 57 metres. This result extends the shallow oxide lode by more than 50 metres and supports an interpretation that the lode projects to the south-west into a largely untested part of the Forrest tenure.

Next drilling: Phase 4 planned for February 2026

A 3,000 metres Phase 4 RC program is scheduled to begin in early February 2026, targeting further extensions to both oxide and fresh rock mineralisation at Forrest. A key focus is follow-up of the identified 850m mineralised strike, with significant portions still under-tested.

Managing director and CEO Nick Rathjen said the Phase 3 campaign confirmed multiple new extensions and identified additional fresh rock lodes, with drilling expected to resume in February 2026.

“Our Phase 3 RC drilling programme at Miriam has once again delivered on all fronts, returning exceptional gold intercepts that reinforce the scale and growth potential of the emerging multi-lode gold system at Forrest.

“Phase 3 has confirmed multiple new extensions to previously defined fresh rock gold lodes, including standout hole FGRC047, which extended two Phase 2 intercepts and uncovered new fresh rock mineralisation at depth. The significant shallow oxide trend first identified in Phase 1 has also been extended by more than 50m to the southwest into currently untested ground at Forrest, suggesting greater oxide mineralisation growth potential. Importantly, Phase 3 has also identified several new fresh rock gold lodes highlighting meaningful upside still to be unlocked across the broader Forrest tenure.

“Looking ahead, our primary goal for 2026 is to continue building value at our Coolgardie Gold Project. Drilling is set to recommence at Miriam in February 2026 with a 3,000m Phase 4 RC drilling programme targeting further extensions to both new and existing high-grade gold lodes within the Forrest system. In parallel, we are advancing a substantial regional exploration programme at Coolgardie, incorporating magnetic geophysics, geochemical sampling and close-spaced gravity work across Miriam and Burbanks East, ahead of AC drilling at priority regional targets in late March 2026.”

Broader 2026 exploration across Coolgardie

Regional soil sampling results are expected in January 2026. Close-spaced ground gravity surveying is underway across Forrest, Burbanks Monarch, Jungle and Goroke, with outcomes anticipated by late February 2026.

Aircore drilling is slated to start from late March 2026 as part of a broader Coolgardie plan that exceeds 30,000 metres of drilling during 2026.

Ore also reported a pro-forma cash balance of about A$10.69 million to fund exploration across the Coolgardie and Randalls projects.
