Cyprium Metals Ltd (ASX:CYM, OTCQB:CYPMF) has outlined a suite of high-priority copper targets across its Paterson Exploration Project in Western Australia after completing a first-pass review of a substantial exploration data package inherited following the exit of former joint venture partner IGO.

The review marks an important reset for Cyprium Metals, which regained full control of around 2,000 square kilometres of prospective ground in the Paterson province after the dissolution of its farm-in and joint venture agreement with IGO in 2025.

The Canada-listed oil and gas explorer issued 38.7 million units at C$0.95 each, with each unit consisting of one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant, the company said. Each full warrant allows the holder to buy one share at C$1.20 within 36 months of the offering’s close.

Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META, XETRA:FB2A, SIX:FB)’ Threads app has overtaken Elon Musk-owned X in daily mobile users, underscoring intensifying competition in the social media market as Meta pushes new features and leverages its broader app ecosystem.

UBS projects the Vans and Timberland maker to report Q3 earnings per share (EPS) of $0.44, compared with the Street estimate of $0.45, and says its checks indicate the company’s sales growth trend was in line with Street estimates.

Millennial Potash Corp (TSX-V:MLP, OTCQB:MLPNF, FRA:XOD) said on Monday it will raise C$15.25 million through a bought-deal private placement to fund work on its Banio potash project.

The junior resource company will issue five million units at C$3.05 each under the offering, it said. Each unit will comprise one common share and half of one share purchase warrant. Each full warrant will be exercisable at C$4 per share for a period of three years from the closing date.

The analysts believe that the recent share price decline reflects both execution questions and lingering uncertainty tied to a pending Warner Bros transaction. “Shares have been in decline since Netflix reported underwhelming Q3 results and Q4 guidance, after several quarters of phenomenal results, amid the overhang from the contentious pending WB acquisition,” the analysts wrote.

Under a trade agreement announced on Friday, Canada will allow up to 49,000 Chinese-made EVs to enter the country annually at a tariff rate of 6.1%, replacing a 100% duty imposed in 2024.

Canada’s annual inflation rate rose to 2.4% in December, edging above expectations as the impact of a temporary federal tax holiday a year earlier dropped out of the annual comparison, Statistics Canada data showed on Monday.

Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU) announced that it will acquire a major semiconductor fabrication facility in Taiwan from Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC) for approximately US$1.8 billion in cash, expanding its memory manufacturing capacity amid rising global demand.

The transaction involves PSMC’s P5 fabrication site located in Tongluo, Miaoli County, Taiwan. Micron has signed an exclusive letter of intent to purchase the site, which includes an existing 300-millimeter wafer fab cleanroom spanning roughly 300,000 square feet.
