Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX:AUE) has delivered another batch of encouraging high-grade gold intercepts from infill drilling at the BDT2 deposit within its flagship Boundiali Gold Project in northern Côte d’Ivoire, reinforcing continuity of mineralisation ahead of a key Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) update due this quarter.
The results form part of Aurum’s 100,000-metre infill drilling campaign at Boundiali, which hosts a current 2.41-million-ounce gold resource and is the company’s core development asset.

High-grade intercepts confirmed at BDT2
Recent diamond drilling at the BDT2 deposit returned multiple shallow and deeper high-grade intersections, highlighting both grade and continuity within the system.
Standout intersections include 4.03 metres at 10.22 grams per tonne gold from 13.5 metres, including 1.5 metres at 27.13 g/t, and 7.15 metres at 4.71 g/t gold from 121.15 metres, including 1 metre at 31.24 g/t. Broader mineralised zones were also intersected, such as 20 metres at 1.18 g/t from 136 metres and 17 metres at 1.33g/t from 118 metres.
Aurum said the latest assays confirm gold mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, with some intersections extending mineralisation up to around 180 metres below the current resource model.

Drilling feeds into near-term resource update
Managing director Dr Caigen Wang said the new results would directly support the upcoming Boundiali MRE update, scheduled for release in the March quarter of 2026.
“We have again hit shallow high-grade gold intercepts at BDT2 with these new results set to deliver both growth of our gold resources and increased confidence,” Wang said.
“These new holes will be used in the upcoming resource update at Boundiali,” he added. “Drilling is ongoing and we are awaiting final assays, which we will incorporate into the planned MRE update in Q1.”
The company is reporting results from 39 diamond drill holes for more than 10,700 metres at BDT2, with further assays still pending.

Large-scale drilling strategy underpinned by owned rig fleet
Aurum continues to differentiate itself through its owned and operated fleet of 12 diamond drill rigs, allowing it to pursue aggressive and cost-effective exploration across multiple deposits.
All 12 rigs are currently active at Boundiali, drilling across the BD, BM, BST and BDT2 deposits, while two additional rigs are operating at Aurum’s Napié Gold Project, which hosts a 0.87-million-ounce resource. A 30,000-metre diamond drilling program is under way at Napié, aimed at further resource growth.

The BDT2 deposit lies within a largely underexplored 13-by 3-kilometre mineralised corridor, with free-milling gold hosted in a north–south trending sandstone unit. True widths for the reported shallow intersections are estimated at about 65–80% of downhole widths.
Busy 2026 catalyst pipeline
Beyond drilling, Aurum has a packed development schedule for early 2026. Updated MREs for both Boundiali and Napié are expected in the March quarter, alongside completion of an open-pit pre-feasibility study for Boundiali.
Further MRE updates at Boundiali are planned for mid and late 2026 as drilling continues to expand and upgrade the resource base.
Aurum closed December 2025 with an unaudited cash balance of about $40.1 million, which it says positions the company well to fund its exploration and development programs as it advances Boundiali towards a definitive feasibility study later this year.
