Pantoro Gold Ltd (ASX:PNR, OTC:PNTOF) has reported a fresh set of high-grade drilling results from the Daisy South deposit at its 100%-owned Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia, confirming extensions to mineralisation and strengthening the case for a new open pit to be developed alongside existing operations.
Results from ongoing surface drilling at Daisy South include both infill and step-out intercepts, with the company saying the latest data supports its current mineralisation model and feeds directly into updated open pit mine design and planning work.

Pantoro is targeting Daisy South to be mined in conjunction with the Gladstone Everlasting Open Pit over the next two years, a strategy it says could improve fleet efficiency and extend the open pit life of the broader Gladstone Everlasting Mining Centre.
High-grade infill drilling supports resource confidence
Infill drilling at Daisy South has returned multiple high-grade intersections within the existing Mineral Resource envelope, aimed at improving confidence and supporting mine planning.
Standout infill results include:
- 4 metres at 7.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including 1 metre at 22.32 g/t
- 9 metres at 4.92 g/t gold, including 1 metre at 15.5 g/t and 1 metre at 11.61 g/t
- 4 metres at 10.29 g/t gold, including 1 metre at 27.22 g/t
- 2.14 metres at 12.53 g/t gold, including 0.78 metres at 28.97 g/t
- 1 metre at 42.38 g/t gold

Pantoro said the infill program was designed to lift confidence in the current Daisy South Mineral Resource, which stands at 215,000 tonnes at 2.9 g/t gold for 20,000 ounces.
With infill drilling now complete, updated optimisations and mine designs are underway to incorporate Daisy South into the active mine plan as a complementary open pit while the open pit mining fleet is already operating in the area.

Step-out drilling confirms lode extensions
Initial step-out drilling has also delivered high-grade results, confirming extensions to mineralisation within the Daisy Shear Zone south of the current Mineral Resource.
Early extensional intercepts include:
- 14 metres at 9.17 g/t gold, including 2 metres at 23.0 g/t and 1 metre at 65.58 g/t
- 2 metres at 5.42 g/t gold
- 9 metres at 2.41 g/t gold

Pantoro said assays from several extensional holes remain outstanding, with early results supporting the presence of a separate mineralised lode. Further drilling is planned once the full dataset has been received.
Open pit opportunity alongside Gladstone Everlasting
Daisy South was identified as a complementary open pit opportunity to the Gladstone Everlasting deposits and is located about 900 metres east of the Gladstone Everlasting Open Pit and 400 metres along strike from the historic Daisy Open Pit.

The original Daisy Open Pit operated between April 2002 and September 2003, producing 63,000 ounces of gold from 487,171 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 4.03 g/t gold. Pantoro said drilling to date suggests Daisy South displays a similar ore zone geometry, with a thick, high-grade dilation zone hosting much of the mineralisation.
Managing director Paul Cmrlec said the results reinforce the development case for Daisy South.
“These high-grade results from Daisy South support the development of an additional open pit to be mined at the same time as the Gladstone Everlasting Open Pit,” Cmrlec said. “Mining the pits simultaneously is expected to improve fleet efficiency and extend the open pit life of the Gladstone Everlasting Mining Centre.”
He added that mine planning and approvals are progressing, with further drilling planned to continue extending the resource.
Broader Norseman growth strategy
The Daisy South drilling sits within Pantoro’s broader strategy to unlock value across the Norseman Gold Project, one of the highest-grade goldfields in the Yilgarn Craton.
Pantoro currently holds Ore Reserves of 859,000 ounces and Total Mineral Resources of 4.6 million ounces. The company completed construction of a new 1.2-million-tonnes-per-annum processing plant in 2022 and is actively mining across open pit and underground operations.
Pantoro has flagged plans to drill approximately 250,000 metres across RC, diamond and aircore programs during FY2026 as it works towards scaling production at Norseman.
