Digi Power X acquires $20M of Nvidia B300 GPUs from Super Micro Computer

Digi Power X Inc (NASDAQ:DGXX, TSX-V:DGX) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire approximately $20 million of next-generation NVIDIA B300 graphics processing units from Super Micro Computer, as the company expands its AI-focused digital infrastructure operations.

The company said the GPU systems will be deployed within its Tier III AI data center infrastructure and offered through its NeoCloudz platform, a GPU-as-a-Service product. Initial customer availability for NeoCloudz is targeted for March 2026.

Digi Power X plans to integrate Supermicro’s AI-optimized server platforms into its modular data center environments to support deployment, availability and energy efficiency.

The company said the acquisition supports its strategy to generate recurring revenue from AI infrastructure by providing enterprise customers, AI startups and research institutions with on-demand access to advanced computing resources without requiring long-term capital investment.

Based on current demand, pricing assumptions and expected utilization, the company said it is targeting a positive return on invested capital within about 30 months of deployment, subject to adoption rates, operating performance and market conditions.

The NeoCloudz platform is designed to support a range of AI workloads, including large language model training and inference, generative AI, data analytics and enterprise applications.

Digi Power X said it expects to begin onboarding initial customers in the first half of 2026 following completion of infrastructure deployment.

"NeoCloudz was designed to deliver immediate access to next-generation AI compute while maintaining strong capital efficiency," said Alec Amar, Digi Power X president and NeoCloudz founder.

"By deploying NVIDIA B300 GPUs through Supermicro's AI-optimized systems in a Tier III environment, we are creating a scalable GPU-as-a-Service platform designed to support enterprise and AI-native customers while targeting a return on invested capital of approximately 30 months."

Separately, Digi Power X said that it has settled a compensation dispute with H.C. Wainwright related to a July 2025 financing, agreeing to pay about US$840,000 in cash and issue warrants for 269,231 shares exercisable at US$2.85 over five years.
