Union Jack Oil PLC (AIM:UJO, OTCQB:UJOGF) announced it has appointed Dr Zac Phillips and John Americanos as non-executive directors with immediate effect. Meanwhile, Craig Howie departed his rola as director.

Zac Phillips joins as an independent non-executive director and will also take on the role of senior independent director.

He has held senior roles at BP, Chevron, Merrill Lynch and ING Barings and brings technical and advisory experience in oil and gas asset evaluation and corporate strategy.

John Americanos is a chartered certified accountant and director of John Alexander Ltd. He has a background in UK and international property development. And, he currently holds approximately 4.73% of Union Jack’s issued share capital.

"We have known both Zac and Johnny for many years and welcome them to our board as non-executive directors," said executive chair David Bramhill.
