Helix Exploration's countdown to Rudyard start up continues to advance

HeLIX Exploration PLC (AIM:HEX, OTCQB:HHEXF) has provided an operational update on its Rudyard Project in northern Montana, where preparations continue toward start-up.

It said that the pressure swing adsorption compressor has been delivered to the site and installation is in progress ahead of commissioning.

The Inez-1 well is being re-entered and deepened to core the Precambrian interval, and, the company expects operations to conclude by 19 January, before further analysis on recovered core samples.

Helix continues noted that offtake discussions for helium sales and is also in talks with several parties regarding the project’s hydrogen potential.

"Activity at Rudyard has accelerated as we enter the final stages ahead of first helium production," said chief executive Bo Sears.

"The delivery and installation of the PSA compressor marks an important milestone, and operations on the Inez No 1 well are progressing as planned. We are focused on executing safely, efficiently, and transparently as we move into production and advance our evaluation of the broader hydrogen opportunity.

"I look forward to updating shareholders as we achieve these near-term milestones."
