Lumos Diagnostics CEO Doug Ward talked with Proactive about the company’s major 2025 milestones and what’s ahead in 2026.
Key highlights include a $490 million AUD distribution deal for FebriDx in the US, a CLIA waiver submission that could open access to 270,000 physicians and 80 million patients, and full Medicare reimbursement across all seven US MACs.
“We achieved all the endpoints of the trial itself and submitting that here in August was just a tremendous next step... a transformational step for the company,” Ward said.
Ward also addressed investor questions, confirming FebriDx is the first rapid point-of-care test of its kind, fully reimbursed by Medicare, and now available in over 20 countries.
