Bluebird Mining Ventures shares up on strategy update

Bluebird Mining Ventures (LSE:BMV) shares moved higher on Friday after a strategic update, which confirmed increased 'inbound interest' in its gold streaming and treasury strategy since December.

The company, in the statement, said discussions have included structured gold arrangements and digitally settled formats linked to physical metal. And, that macroeconomic conditions and interest-rate expectations are contributing to renewed engagement from counterparties.

Bluebird also confirmed a technology partnership with The BE Company, which will provide advisory and development support across IT infrastructure and data services.

Chief executive Sath Ganesarajah said: “BMV will prioritise partnerships that enhance execution capability without diverting focus from the core business” .

"The increased level of interest we are seeing reflects a growing convergence between physical gold and modern financial infrastructure," said chief executive Sath Ganesarajah, who added: "We remain focused on executing our gold streaming and treasury strategy, maintaining balance-sheet discipline, and progressing selective partnerships that support scalable, compliant growth."

In London, Bluebird shares gained around 7.7% to 0.21p, and in earlier exchanges saw as high as 0.23p.
