Lindian Resources says construction is accelerating at its Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi, with the first Komatsu mining fleet deliveries now on site. The company says units have arrived from South Africa for assembly and commissioning, alongside operator training. Remaining deliveries are due through the March quarter as Kangankunde moves closer to production.
Critical Resources has engaged SLR Consulting in Canada to develop a regulatory roadmap for permitting at its Mavis Lake lithium project in Ontario. The company says the work will help coordinate technical and government advisory efforts and streamline approvals.
St George Mining has reported a high-grade niobium discovery at its Araxá project in Brazil, about 400 metres northwest of its existing resource estimate area. The company says drilling intersected more than 80 metres of high-grade niobium from surface, including one hole at 81.5 metres grading 1.27 percent niobium oxide.
