Critical Mineral Resources PLC (LSE:CMRS) shares trade up on Tuesday as it reported latest results from its maiden core drilling programme at the Agadir Melloul project in Morocco.
The company said drilling continues to delineate shallow copper mineralisation at Zone 2 North and has also identified new shallow gold intercepts.
It highlighted multiple near-surface copper intercepts, including ten metres at 1.1% copper from surface in hole BHR09. New gold results included an intercept of one metre at 2.5 grams per tonne gold from five metres.
Chief executive Charlie Long said: “Our drilling continues to define shallow copper mineralisation, and we now have the extremely exciting addition of a gold discovery, also in a shallow setting.”
In London, CMR shares were up 16% changing hands at 2.98p.
