Tooru jumps after confident progress report

Shares in Tooru PLC (AIM:TOO) climbed 10% to 0.28p after the AIM-listed health and wellness group said it was confident about its outlook following a year of significant change and investment.

In a trading update, the company said the past year had been about laying the foundations for future growth after completing a reverse takeover in May 2025. Management said it was now settling into the new structure, with attention split between expanding its core brands and keeping costs tightly controlled.

That approach is beginning to feed through into supermarket shelves. Juvela, the group’s long-established gluten-free business, continues to trade well, while newer brand OAF is gaining traction. Sales through Tesco remain strong and Tooru said it is in advanced discussions with other major retailers.

Pulsin, which produces healthy snack bars and nutritional powders, is also set for wider distribution, with some products due to be stocked in 1,000 Co-op stores, up from 80.

The group has combined Pulsin with We Love Purely to cut costs and is reviewing whether to keep manufacturing outsourced for greater flexibility.

Alongside the update, Tooru announced a board change and confirmed a refinancing with Shawbrook Bank, extending facilities to 2030 and adding £500,000 to support OAF’s development.
