DroneShield Ltd (ASX:DRO, OTC:DRSHF) has secured a standalone $6.2 million contract via an in-country reseller for supply to a military end-customer in an Asia Pacific country, with delivery and cash payment expected in 2026.
The reseller is a wholly owned subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar, global, publicly listed customer that is contractually required to distribute solutions to a major Asia Pacific military government department. The contract covers a solution package including selected 3rd-party hardware interoperable with DroneShield’s DroneSentry-C2 command-and-control software platform.
DroneShield said no additional material conditions need to be satisfied ahead of delivery and payment.
Over the past 2 years, DroneShield has received 14 standalone contracts from this reseller, totalling more than $48 million, but noted there is no obligation for any further awards.
The company also stated it does not consider the identity of the counterparty/customer to be information a reasonable person would expect to have a material effect on the price or value of DroneShield securities, and that the announcement contains all material information and is not misleading by omission.
