OTC Markets Group Inc. (OTCQX:OTCM) said Glen Burnie Bancorp, the holding company for The Bank of Glen Burnie, has qualified to trade on the OTCQX Best Market under the symbol GLBZ after previously trading on Nasdaq.
The move allows the community bank to reduce regulatory and compliance costs while maintaining transparency and access for investors.
CEO Mark Hanna said the shift is expected to generate cost savings and efficiencies following SEC deregistration and Nasdaq delisting.
