Gulf Marine Services PLC (AIM:GMS) shares were on the front foot, after it secured a new contract covering two of its Large-class vessels for offshore operations in Europe.
The contract spans 985 days and brings the company’s total contracted backlog to US$540 million.
GMS said that the award reflects continued demand for its support solutions in multiple geographies.
“We are delighted to have secured this contract, which once again highlights the strong demand for our vessels across multiple geographies,” said executive chair Mansour Al Alami.
In London, shares were up 5.9% changing hands at 17.18p.
