Kairos Minerals Ltd (ASX:KAI, OTCQB:KAIFF) has reported multiple broad gold intercepts from extensional and infill drilling at the 1.4 Moz Mt York Gold Project in WA’s Pilbara, led by a strong Main Hill diamond hole and a step-out RC result that supports along-strike continuity.
All assays are now in for Kairos’ 2025 Main Trend drilling, part of a broader program comprising 128 holes for 26,971 metres across Mt York and the Mt York Extension.
The best result came from diamond hole 25MYDD068 at Main Hill, which returned 51 metres at 2.42 g/t gold from 54 metres, including a high-grade 1 metre interval at 76.81 g/t from 54 metres. Higher-grade internal zones included 2 metres at 11.37 g/t from 61 metres.
The hole successfully tested footwall mineralisation within the Main Hill pit area and is expected to support the upcoming resource update.
Best intercepts include:
- 51m @ 2.42 g/t Au from 54m including 1m @ 76.81 g/t Au from 54m, 2m @ 11.37 g/t Au from 61m, and 7m @ 2.01g/t Au from 132m (25MYDD068) (Main Hill)
- 45m @ 1.37 g/t Au from 91m including 13m @ 2.52 g/t Au from 112m and 7m @ 1.07 g/t Au from 162m (25MYRC008) (Main Hill)
- 10m @ 1.75 g/t Au from 101m including 5m @ 3.14 g/t Au from 102m (25MYRC003) (Main Hill)
- 4m @ 3.63 g/t Au from 47m (25MYRC002) (Main Hill)
- 17m @ 1.09 g/t Au from 95.8m including 8m @ 1.61 g/t Au from 105m (25MYDD069) (Breccia Hill)
- 6m @ 2.80 g/t Au from 149m (25MYRC006) (Breccia Hill)

“Our 2025 drilling campaign at Mt York has been completed, comprising 26,971m, with no significant safety incidents. This is testament to the culture and ongoing dedication to safety and operational excellence from our employees and contractors," Kairos managing director Dr Peter Turner said.
“These latest results from Main Hill and Breccia Hill again support an increase and confidence in the gold resource at Main Trend, a view we have maintained throughout the programme based on consistent wide zones of mineralisation reported at depth throughout the 3,000m-long deposit.
“Attention is now focused on the results of the Mt York Extension where the Kairos Geologists have reported sulphide-bearing BIF across much of the strike length. We eagerly await these results to be reported in Q1 2026 and form part of the new MRE."
Step-out intercept supports continuity between Main Hill and Breccia Hill
A step-out RC hole drilled between Main Hill and Breccia Hill, 25MYRC008, returned 45m at 1.37 g/t from 91m, including 13m at 2.52 g/t from 112m.
The intercept demonstrates strong continuity of gold mineralisation within the banded iron formation host and aligns with earlier deeper drilling on the same section.
Further Main Hill drilling returned 10m at 1.75 g/t from 101m, including 5m at 3.14 g/t from 102m, in 25MYRC003, and 4m at 3.63 g/t from 47m in 25MYRC002.
Kairos said the shallower results have identified new higher-grade mineralisation between Main Hill and the Main Hill Extension area.
At Breccia Hill, diamond hole 25MYDD069 delivered 17.2m at 1.09 g/t from 95.8m, including 8m at 1.61 g/t from 105m, while 25MYRC006 returned 6m at 2.80 g/t from 149m.

Next steps
With the current phase of drilling complete, Kairos is now focused on incorporating the latest results and advancing Mt York toward its next resource milestone.
- Await remaining assay results from the Main Hill Extension, where Kairos has completed 30 RC and 16 diamond holes across 1,500 m of strike targeting potential resource growth in the upper 150m of the system. Results are expected in January–February 2026.
- Update the Mt York mineral resource estimate, with Kairos planning a revised MRE in Q1 CY2026, incorporating results from the completed Main Trend drilling and the Main Hill Extension program.
The company reported a cash balance of $30.4 million following its latest capital raising, with a further $10 million expected from Pilbara Minerals in early 2026, payable in cash or shares.
