Valereum lines up $600,000 revenue as Wageen token prepares to list on its digital markets platform

Valereum PLC (AQSE:VLRM) said it expects to earn about $600,000 after agreeing to list a new digital asset tied to a Latin American mobility business on its regulated trading venue, marking another step in its push to build revenues from tokenised real-world assets.

The AQSE-quoted group said the WAGEEN token, known as WAG1, will be listed imminently on VLRM Markets, its licensed marketplace for digital assets linked to underlying businesses or projects. The revenue will be recognised once the token issuance is completed.

WAG1 is the flagship digital asset of Wageen Corp. and is designed to give holders a fixed annual return of 11%, alongside longer-term exposure to the company’s planned growth ahead of a future stock market listing.

In plain terms, the token works a bit like a bond with added upside. Investors receive a fixed cash yield each year, while also gaining exposure to Wageen’s expansion in the so-called Mobility-as-a-Service sector, which brings different transport options together on a single digital platform.

Wageen is building an app that allows users to book everything from ride-hailing services to private jets, yachts and helicopters through one interface, initially focusing on Latin America. The company says the platform is designed to scale across the region as demand grows.

The WAG1 issuance is targeting $20 million in total, with $6 million already secured from institutional backers. Alongside the financial return, the token also includes lifestyle-style benefits linked to travel and transport partners, offering practical perks rather than purely financial exposure.

Gary Cottle, group chief executive of Valereum, said the deal highlighted growing interest in regulated digital assets connected to tangible businesses.

“The addition of WAG1 to VLRM Markets shows the appetite that’s out there for regulated digital assets connected to real-world sectors,” he said.

Richard White, chief executive of Wageen, said the structure offered a way to access a fast-evolving area of transport. “WAG1 offers investors a regulated entry point into the next generation of integrated mobility,” he said.

Alongside the commercial update, Valereum said non-executive director Matt Ripperger had stepped down as part of a previously flagged board reorganisation linked to planned strategic funding.

The company also said it is in advanced talks to appoint a new AQSE corporate adviser, with a further update expected in due course.
