1911 Gold begins drilling at Ogama-Rockland site - ICYMI

1911 Gold Corp (TSX-V:AUMB, OTCQB:AUMBF) chairman Gary O’Connor talked with Proactive about the company's latest exploration and development plans in southeast Manitoba.

The conversation centred around drilling at the Ogama-Rockland deposit and advancing the True North Gold Project.

The Ogama-Rockland gold deposit, located 25km from the True North mill, currently holds a historical resource of 330,000 ounces at over 8 grams per tonne.

According to O’Connor, it is a past-producing site with historical output above 12 grams per tonne and over 50,000 ounces.

He explained the aim of the current drill program is to confirm the existing model, test expansion potential, and complete metallurgical testing to assess processing compatibility with the True North facility.

“We’re going into that current resource… to test the expansion opportunity,” said O’Connor. He added that any updated resource will feed into the company’s development plans and be considered alongside other exploration targets near True North.

O’Connor confirmed that the company is targeting an updated Mineral Resource in the first half of 2026.

This will include new assay results, refined modelling, and metallurgical data. He noted that infill drilling and further exploration will continue in parallel.

Looking ahead, O’Connor said 2026 will be a critical year, with the release of a PEA, bulk sampling at True North, and transition into a pre-feasibility study, all targeting production commencement in 2027.
