Kodal Minerals PLC (AIM:KOD) interim results covered a period of achievement for the junior mine developer, which is presently bringing the Bougouni lithium project to the completion of commissioning and first exports.
Interim results, for the six months to 30 September 2025, out today, reported a loss of £1.13 million and saw the firm with around $15.6 million of cash (at the end of September).
During the period, Kodal produced about 45,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate and received an export permit for an initial 125,000 tonnes.
The first export shipment of 28,950 tonnes left port in November, after the reporting period.
“I am delighted with our achievements at Bougouni over the last six months, as commissioning of the plant nears completion and first export and receipt of first revenues was achieved post-period end. The granting of the export license was a critical next step for the development of the project as well as for Mali's burgeoning spodumene industry,” said chief executive Bernard Aylward.
He said export and sales activity marked the company’s transition toward revenue generation.
Aylward added: "I look forward to continuing our evolution into a revenue-generating producer and reporting on our progress in the transformational period ahead of us."
