Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX:AUE) has delivered further high-grade gold intercepts from diamond drilling at the BMT3 deposit within its Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, as part of a large-scale infill and resource growth program.
Location of Aurum’s projects in Côte d'Ivoire.
The latest results are from 23 diamond holes totalling 5,076m, targeting infill and step-back positions designed to improve confidence in the existing mineral resource and test extensions beyond current boundaries. Notably, major MRE updates for Boundiali and Napié are scheduled for Q1 CY2026, aimed at growing Aurum's current 3.28Moz resource base.
Boundiali currently hosts a 2.41Moz gold resource and forms the core of Aurum’s broader Côte d’Ivoire portfolio. Boundiali Project Pre-Feasibility Study results are also due in Q1 CY2026.
“We have again hit shallow high-grade gold intercepts at BMT3 with 3.60m @ 13.88 g/t Au (MBDD299) at Boundiali. This high-grade gold intercept is sitting outside of the current MRE and is located ~100m north of 3.10m @ 70.78 g/t Au from 112.90m in MBDD2914," Aurum managing director Dr Caigen Wang said.
"Drilling is ongoing and we are awaiting assays which will be used for the planned MRE update in Q1 CY2026. Our unique advantage is our owned and operated fleet of 12 diamond drill rigs, which allows us to aggressively and cost-effectively test these major gold systems, and we continue to drill with two rigs at Napié in parallel with our aggressive program at Boundiali. We have 12 diamond drill rigs active at Boundiali on multiple deposits, as we focus on delivering an increase in quantity and confidence in our Mineral Resources.
"As we close out CY2025 we have a strong cash balance of $43 million, a clear development pathway with the Boundiali PFS underway, and resource growth from major updates at both gold projects pending. This places Aurum in an excellent position to continue to deliver substantial shareholder value in 2026."
Strong infill and step-back intercepts
Better results from the program included:
- 10.15 metres at 6.05g/t gold from 125.50m, including 3.60m at 13.88g/t from 129.90m (MBDD299)

- 8.48 metres at 2.15g/t from 74.20m, including 1.48m at 10.55g/t (MBDD313)
These new results are in addition to diamond holes drilled and reported by Aurum at BM, which included:
- 4.20 metres @ 80.64 g/t Au from 107m inc. 1.43m @ 234.35 g/t Au & 5.66 m @ 6.99 g/t Au from 121m (MBDD214B)
- 3.80 metres @ 73.82 g/t Au from 274m inc. 0.80m @ 350 g/t Au (MBDD277)
- 1 metre @ 274.89 g/t Au from 380m (MBDD274)
- 1.19 metres @ 277.54 g/t Au from 31m (MBDD118)
- 9 metres @ 24.61 g/t Au from 221m inc. 4m @ 54.64 g/t Au from 222m (MBDD174)
- 5.10 metres @ 43.13 g/t Au from 112.90m inc. 3.10m @ 70.78 g/t Au (MBDD291)
- 1 metre @ 150.50 g/t Au within 3m @ 50.56 g/t Au from 124m (MBDD130)
- 1 metre @ 152.35 g/t Au from 96m (MBDD260)
- 2 metres @ 63.55 g/t Au from 111m inc. 1m @ 110.95 g/t Au & 23m @ 2.04 g/t Au from 118m (MBDD123)
- 4 metres @ 9.56 g/t Au from 130m inc. 3m @ 12.65 g/t Au (MBDD133)
- 1 metre @ 73.77 g/t Au from 38m; 12m @ 2.14 g/t Au from 43m; 6m @ 4.46 g/t Au from 56m & 15m @ 1.17 g/t Au from 132m (MBDD112)
- 11.46 metres @ 6.67 g/t Au from 162.54m incl. 1.46m @ 45.04 g/t Au (MBDD049).
Aurum said the intercept in hole MBDD299 is located outside the current mineral resource estimate and approximately 100m north of a previously reported high-grade intercept, highlighting the potential for further resource expansion at BMT3.
Mineralisation remains open
Gold mineralisation at BMT3 remains open along strike and at depth, with the latest drilling supporting both continuity within the existing resource and growth potential beyond current limits.
Mineralisation at BMT3 is hosted within a diorite unit bounded by volcanic and sedimentary rocks, with gold associated with quartz veining and sulphide-related alteration. Aurum estimates true widths for the shallower intercepts at approximately 60%–80% of reported downhole widths.
Expanded drilling capacity
Aurum continues to scale up activity across its Côte d’Ivoire portfolio, recently expanding its owned drilling fleet to 12 diamond rigs. The company is targeting up to 130,000 metres of drilling across the Boundiali and Napié gold projects in calendar year 2025.
The nearby Napié Gold Project currently hosts a 0.87Moz resource, taking Aurum’s total group resource base to 3.28Moz.
At the end of November 2025, Aurum reported a cash balance of approximately $43 million, providing funding headroom to progress drilling, studies and resource updates across both projects.
