OpenAI could be preparing for another major funding round that might value the firm at $750 billion, according to a report by The Information citing anonymous sources.
The discussions are still in the early stages, the report said, and could involve raising "tens of billions" of dollars.
OpenAI, which remains unprofitable, was last valued at $500 billion following a share sale in October and has reportedly been in talks to raise $10 billion from Amazon.
If completed, the round would position OpenAI among the most valuable private companies globally, highlighting the strong investor confidence in AI’s potential to reshape work, business, and productivity.
The company’s rapid growth and sky-high valuation come amid mounting expectations as OpenAI moves closer to a potential initial public offering, which could bring increased scrutiny and pressure.
