Happy Creek jumps on new tungsten drill results at Fox project

Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V:HPY, OTC:HPYCF) reported assay results from its 2025 drill program at the Fox Tungsten Project in British Columbia, with drilling expanding known mineralization at the Ridley Creek (RC) and BN zones.

The Vancouver-based company completed 18 diamond drill holes totaling about 2,176 metres, targeting resource expansion at the two zones in the South Cariboo district.

At the RC zone, Happy Creek said drilling confirmed continuity of tungsten-bearing calc-silicate horizons and extended mineralization to the southwest, with the zone remaining open to the west beneath Deception Mountain. Highlights included 1.18 metres grading 6.83% tungsten trioxide (WO3) from 31.2 metres depth in hole F25-13, and 1 metre grading 2.22% WO3 from 47 metres in hole F25-01.

A total of 14 holes were drilled at the RC zone totaling about 1,305 metres were completed at the RC zone. Drilling expanded the calc-silicate horizon roughly 250 metres southward toward the BN zone.

At the BN zone, four drill holes totaling 871 metres tested extensions to the northwest and at depth. Highlights included 1.65 metres grading 0.57% WO3 from 218.3 metres in hole F25-16 and 2 metres grading 0.79% WO3 from 215 metres in hole F25-17.

The company said results supported a stacked-layer model, with multiple calc-silicate horizons hosting scheelite mineralization and remaining open to the west and north beneath Deception Mountain.

Happy Creek noted that the BN zone consists of multiple stacked horizons adjacent to the Deception stock intrusion, with mineralization occurring both within intrusive sills and in altered carbonate-sedimentary rocks.

The Fox Tungsten Project hosts a 2018 NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate that outlined an indicated resource of 582,400 tonnes grading 0.83% WO3 at the RC zone, and an inferred resource of 565,400 tonnes grading 1.23% WO3, primarily at the BN zone, the company said.

Shares of Happy Creek gained 46.5% on Thursday afternoon in Canada at $0.19.
