Naked Wines pops as 'top end' earnings expected

Naked Wines PLC (AIM:WINE, OTCQX:NWINF) shares popped 8.4% higher to 71.97p after the company said it expects underlying earnings to be towards the top end of published guidance.

The improvement is attributed to strong peak trading performance across all markets and disciplined cost control in areas including general and administrative expenses, cost of goods, and acquisition investment.

The company said revenue would be at the lower end of guidance as it continues to reduce inefficient investment in line with its strategy to build a smaller but more profitable business.

Management said the business remains poised for a return to profitable growth, with adjusted EBITDA expected to grow progressively over the medium term.

A fuller trading update on peak trading performance was promised for mid-January 2026.
