hVIVO PLC (AIM:HVO) has appointed Richard Cotton as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
Cotton will also take on the role of chair of the audit committee and become a member of both the remuneration and nominations committees.
He brings broad board-level and financial experience, having held senior roles across life sciences and other sectors. He is currently audit chair and lead independent director at Nasdaq-listed Spectral AI and senior independent director and audit committee chair at AIM-listed AOTI. He also advises Novumgen and is a non-executive director at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Previous executive roles include serving as chief financial officer at Dechra Pharmaceuticals and Consort Medical. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
