Lumos Diagnostics expands FebriDx footprint with Baltic distribution deal

Lumos Diagnostics Holdings Ltd (ASX:LDX, OTC:LDXHF) has secured a new European distribution agreement that will see its FebriDx® point-of-care test rolled out across the Baltic region, adding further momentum to the company’s international commercial expansion.

The company has executed a distribution agreement with Interlux Group, a well-established medical distributor operating across Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia, to sell and distribute FebriDx throughout the three Baltic markets.

Incorporated in 1994, Interlux employs more than 100 sales specialists and services more than 1,000 customers across the region. Its customer base spans laboratories, hospitals, clinics and primary care providers, with a strong focus on diagnostic products and healthcare technologies.

Under the agreement, Interlux will oversee sales, distribution and inventory management of FebriDx across the Baltics. The distributor has already placed an initial stocking order, enabling immediate availability of the test for customers in all three countries.

Expanding access in European healthcare markets

The agreement enables FebriDx to be distributed into primary care, urgent care and outpatient settings across the Baltic region, leveraging Interlux’s established logistics infrastructure and long-standing customer relationships.

FebriDx is designed to rapidly differentiate between bacterial and viral respiratory infections at the point of care, supporting more targeted treatment decisions and helping to reduce unnecessary antibiotic use. The test has become a central pillar of Lumos’ commercial strategy, particularly as healthcare systems globally place greater emphasis on antimicrobial stewardship and efficient frontline diagnostics.

The Baltic deal further extends Lumos’ growing European distribution network for FebriDx. The company already has agreements in place with global healthcare distributor Henry Schein covering several key European markets, including the UK, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands.

Lumos said the addition of the Interlux deal strengthens its regional footprint and aligns with its strategy of partnering with experienced local distributors to drive adoption in targeted international markets.

Building on recent commercial momentum

The new agreement follows a series of recent developments for Lumos as it sharpens its commercial focus around FebriDx, particularly in the US and Europe. Last month, the company secured full US Medicare reimbursement for FebriDx, a milestone that significantly improved the test’s commercial attractiveness in the world’s largest healthcare market.

Managing director Doug Ward said the Baltic agreement represented another step forward in expanding FebriDx internationally.

“We are pleased to partner with Interlux as we continue expanding FebriDx into international markets,” Ward said. “Their strong regional presence and deep customer relationships make them an excellent partner to accelerate adoption across the Baltic region.”

As Lumos continues to broaden access to FebriDx through established distribution partners, the company is positioning the test as a scalable solution across multiple healthcare systems, supporting its broader ambition to build a sustainable global diagnostics business.
