RC Fornax extends contract with tier-1 client, highlights increase in customer engagement

RC Fornax PLC (AIM:RCFX) told investors it has secured a contract extension worth approximately £470,000 from an existing tier-1 defence client.

The agreement marks the next phase in an ongoing project and involves the continued provision of specialist engineering services.

The extension will be delivered by a dedicated team of five specialists over a six-month period. It follows a strong start to the company's financial year and comes amid growing demand following the UK’s Strategic Defence Review.

“This latest extension reflects the continued confidence of a major defence customer in RC Fornax's specialist engineering capability and delivery model,” said chief executive officer Paul Reeves.

“It represents the next phase of an established engagement and demonstrates how early project success is translating into further incremental delivery as programmes progress.”

RC Fornax has noted increased customer activity in recent months. The company stated this extension demonstrates how early project wins are now leading to follow-on work and contract growth.

Reeves commented: "Following a strong first quarter, we continue to see increased customer engagement across our client base, supported by the operational improvements implemented over recent months.

"While much of our work remains subject to confidentiality, this extension provides further evidence of the follow-on activity and contract growth beginning to emerge from our recent commercial momentum, as we continue to expand our support for existing customers."
