1911 Gold graduates to OTCQX market, boosting US investor access

1911 Gold Corp (TSX-V:AUMB, OTCQB:AUMBF) said its common shares have begun trading on the OTCQX Best Market in the United States, marking an upgrade from lower-tier OTC markets and expanding access for US investors.

The company’s shares will trade on OTCQX under the ticker symbol AUMBF, while continuing to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada and on the Frankfurt Exchange in Germany.

1911 CEO Shaun Heinrichs said the move is expected to improve the company’s visibility with US institutional and retail investors as it advances its flagship True North Gold Project in Manitoba.

“OTCQX will provide investors the opportunity to participate in a unique growth story as we advance our True North Gold Project towards a mine restart in 2027,” Heinrichs said in a statement.

1911 Gold is focused on its 100%-owned True North Gold Project in the Archean Rice Lake Greenstone Belt in Manitoba. The company controls about 62,000 hectares of prospective ground that includes several past-producing gold mines located near the fully built and permitted True North mine and mill complex.

The company has said it is positioning the project for a restart of operations in 2027, targeting near-term production while pursuing exploration upside across the broader land package. Its strategy centers on building a district-scale gold operation around existing infrastructure that can be expanded over time.
