The Small Cap Wrap: ASX and XSO continue their slide

The S&P/ASX 200 closed lower on Tuesday, falling 36.10 points, or 0.42%, to 8,598.90.

The weakest performers in the benchmark index were IperionX Ltd and Life360 Inc, which declined 6.39% and 5.73%, respectively.

Despite the day’s pullback, the ASX 200 is virtually unchanged over the past 5 days and remains up 5.39% year to date.

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index (XSO) also ended lower, down 17.10 points, or 0.47%, to 3,655.70. Over the past 5 days, the index has slipped 17.50 points, or 0.48%.
