Condor Gold expands acreage around La India in Nicaragua

Tierra Blanca expands the La India Project concession package to a total of 313 sq km.

Condor Gold (LON:CNR) has added to its acreage in Nicaragua with the award of a 32 sq km plot to the west of its La India licence

The 25 year exploration and mining acreage is called Tierra Blanca and expands the La India Project concession package to a total of 313 sq km.

Mark Child, Condor’s chief executive, said Tierra Blanca had excellent greenfield exploration potential based on historic exploration data.

It is located 30km from B2Gold's El Limon mine and only 10km due west of Condor's La India gold mineral resource of 2.33M oz gold at 4.0g/t gold.

La India sits at the south-eastern end of a 75km long gold corridor. Tierra Blanca also lies within this corridor, 2.5km to the northwest of the core gold mineralisation zone at La India.

Just to the northwest of Tierra Blanca, Canadian explorer Cassius Ventures reported 55g/t gold in rock chip samples in 2013.
