Avon Technologies PLC (LSE:AVON) has won a $20.6 million order for FM50 respirators and FM61EU filters from a European government via the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) contract.
The order will be delivered across the FTSE 250 company's 2026 and 2027 financial years, which it said underpins its financial guidance for 2026 issued last month.
The FM50 respirator, alongside the FM61EU filter, is designed to protect against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats and meets current NATO operational requirements.
Avon was awarded the 10-year NATO procurement contract for the FM50 in 2020, which enables NATO members and partners to purchase a range of respiratory protection products and accessories.
Chief executive officer Jos Sclater said: “The FM50 is the most operationally proven and widely deployed battlefield respirator in the world. We are pleased that a key European MoD has elected to continue protecting its personnel with this world-leading respirator.”
