Imaging Biometrics Ltd (LSE:IBAI) has expanded its global distribution agreement with GE HealthCare, adding two of its newer neuroimaging products, FTB Express maps and QSMetric, to a partnership that already covers IB Neuro and Delta T1 maps.
FTB Express provides faster access to Fractional Tumour Burden outputs, which help clinicians distinguish tumour tissue from treatment effects in contrast-enhancing regions.
It sits on top of IB’s existing workflow: Delta T1 maps define the enhancing areas, while IB Neuro generates quantitative perfusion images (sRCBV) without the need for manual tissue normalisation.
Together, these inputs feed the automated FTB mapping system used in treatment planning and monitoring for brain tumour patients.
QSMetric, meanwhile, is a patented quantitative susceptibility mapping tool that converts gradient-echo brain scans into visualisations of tissue structure and magnetic susceptibility.
The software is used across a widening set of clinical applications, from deep-brain-stimulation targeting to assessments in neurodegenerative diseases and multiple sclerosis.
Katie Anderson, global MR visualisation product manager at GE HealthCare, said the company was “excited to expand our collaboration with Imaging Biometrics to enable access for our customers to these clinically important capabilities.”
