Anthropic strengthened its bid to bring its Claude artificial intelligence models into large corporations through an expanded partnership with Accenture PLC (NYSE:ACN) that will train tens of thousands of consultants and launch new AI products aimed at accelerating enterprise adoption.
The companies said they are forming the Accenture Anthropic Business Group, making Anthropic one of Accenture’s key strategic partners.
About 30,000 Accenture professionals will be trained on Claude and Claude Code—Anthropic’s model for software development—in what the startup described as its largest-ever deployment.
“AI is changing how almost everyone works, and enterprises need both cutting-edge AI and trusted expertise to deploy it at scale,” said Dario Amodei, Anthropic’s CEO. “Our new partnership means that tens of thousands of Accenture developers will be using Claude Code, making this our largest ever deployment.”
Anthropic, whose Claude models are used by hundreds of thousands of businesses, is looking to accelerate its foothold inside global enterprises as companies shift from AI pilots to production systems. Under the expanded partnership, Accenture will embed Claude in client environments and tap into a large pool of trained practitioners to help organizations move more quickly while reducing deployment risks.
The firms will also introduce a joint offering for chief information officers to scale AI-powered software development.
Beyond software development, Anthropic and Accenture are co-developing solutions for regulated industries including financial services, life sciences, healthcare and the public sector, according to an Accenture statement.
The companies said they will co-invest in a new Claude Center of Excellence within Accenture and bring Claude into Accenture’s network of global innovation hubs, enabling clients to test and validate AI systems in controlled environments.
