Arecor Therapeutics PLC (AIM:AREC) and Sequel Med Tech will host a virtual panel next month to discuss how diabetes care is evolving and to set out the roadmap for their joint work on a new insulin and pump system.
The session, on 7 January, will bring together Arecor boss Dr Sarah Howell, Sequel co-founder Dr Alan Lotvin and endocrinologist Dr Thomas Blevins, with healthcare writer Melanie Senior chairing.
The aim is to explore the day-to-day realities of diabetes management, the limits of today’s automated insulin delivery systems and the areas where technology is pushing ahead.
Arecor will highlight AT278, its ultra-concentrated, ultra-rapid insulin designed to speed up dosing and reduce injection volumes. Sequel will discuss the US launch of its twiist pump.
The companies plan to explain how the two technologies will be combined and the steps ahead for the partnership, finishing with an open Q&A.
