Nexus Minerals Ltd (ASX:NXM) has continued to advance its Wallbrook Gold Project, 140 km northeast of Kalgoorlie, WA, with systematic regional exploration outlining five prospects now moving toward resource definition and offering strong potential to expand the project’s Mineral Resource inventory.

Results have been received from a recently completed aircore (AC) drilling campaign at Wallbrook. The program comprised 295 holes for 10,113 metres across 2 regional targets: extensional opportunities at Branches and target MC3.3.
Aircore targets were prioritised based on structural setting, lithology, alteration and known gold anomalism, with an emphasis on shallow discovery opportunities to efficiently build the project’s near-surface ounce profile.
Drilling at Branches has confirmed extensional growth potential through both northern and southern strike extensions to the mineralised system. Drilling has also outlined potential parallel mineralised zones to the east of previous reverse circulation (RC) drilling. Highlight results include:
- 4m @ 2.47 g/t Au
- 1m @ 1.01 g/t Au to end of hole, within 14 m @ 1.15 g/t Au
- 4m @ 1.07 g/t Au within 16 m @ 0.57 g/t Au
- 4m @ 1.56 g/t Au within 16 m @ 0.44 g/t Au
Exploration update
Systematic regional exploration at Wallbrook has advanced 5 prospects toward resource definition drilling. These prospects provide potential for Mineral Resource growth and include:
- Branches – 1,500m x 300m footprint, 3km north of the Crusader–Templar deposit
- Payns – 650m x 250m footprint, situated south along strike of operating mines
- Clement – 900m x 750m footprint, adjacent to the Crusader–Templar deposit and immediately north of an operating mine
- Amand – 1,700m x 600m footprint, south along strike of historical mines
- Godfrey – 1,200m x 100m footprint, forming part of the broader Crusader–Templar system
These regional discoveries represent a small portion of the broader 192 km² tenement package, leaving scope for further discovery.
The prospects are located on granted mining leases, close to existing infrastructure and near-term production optionality at the Crusader–Templar deposit. Ongoing exploration continues to support Wallbrook’s emergence as a growing gold camp.
Resource definition RC drilling is planned for the first quarter of 2026 to progress these high-priority prospects.

Aircore drilling – recently completed
At Branches, AC drilling confirms strong expansion potential, including:
- Strike extensions both north and south of previous RC drilling; and
- New parallel mineralised structures to the east, indicating a broader mineralised system.
Results from Branches will be incorporated into future resource definition drilling plans. Target MC3.3 returned no material anomalism.
