Markets in a Minute: Kairos Minerals and Imugene shine

The ASX 200 closed lower Monday, dropping 0.12 of a per cent. Telecom bucked the trend, nudging just over a per cent, whilst utilities and materials fell short, and shed around .8 of a per cent.

Green

Kairos Minerals had a stellar day on news it's signed a mining agreement with the Nyamal Aboriginal Corporation, marking the final step toward granting the Mt York Gold Project mining lease. The deal sets out cultural, heritage and compensation frameworks, ensuring a cooperative approach.

Imugene also shot up on securing key support from the US FDA, including written confirmation allowing its off-the-shelf CAR-T therapy, azer-cel, to move into a registrational Phase Three trial.

Red

Boss Energy plunged on news it will be removed from the ASX 200 in the latest index rebalance. The removal takes effect on December 22.

St George Mining was down despite delivering its thickest high-grade hit yet at the Araxá rare earths and niobium project in Brazil — more than 115 metres of mineralisation from surface.
