Gear4Music shares rise as expectations are upgraded

Gear4music Holdings PLC (AIM:G4M) shares were up around 7% in Wednesday morning's trade, changing hands at 306.02p, after the instruments and kit retailer raised its full-year earnings guidance following record trading over the Black Friday period.

On Cyber Monday, the company dispatched over 14,000 orders, marking its highest revenue day to date.

The board now expects earnings (EBITDA) for the year ending 31 March to be not less than £16.7 million. This marks the fourth upgrade to financial expectations during 2025.

The company noted strong performance across all operational sites.

"We are pleased to report that the very strong sales momentum highlighted in our previous updates continued over the recent Black Friday weekend," said executive chair Andrew Wass.

"Our operational infrastructure performed well under the increased levels of demand, and although we are still early in the critical peak trading period, the continued strength of trading provides the board with sufficient confidence to again raise its expectations for the group's financial performance."
