Power Metallic Mines Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, OTCQB:PNPNF) vice president of investor relations Duncan Roy talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion at Resourcing Tomorrow 2025 about the company’s recent drill results and strategic developments at its Nisk project in Quebec.
Roy explained that Power Metallic considers the Nisk project to be “the biggest success story in Canada in the last 30 years,” describing it as ultra-rare and rich in orthomagnetic rock. The company currently has five rigs operating and plans to expand to seven by January.
During the interview, Roy highlighted the strong assay results released that day, which included “dozens of meters of high-grade copper EQ,” with some numbers exceeding 20% copper equivalent. He also discussed borehole EM work that identified “the largest anomaly we've ever seen,” which the company intends to pursue with further drilling in January and summer 2026.
Additionally, Power Metallic has secured permits to begin drilling hydro lands south of the Nisk and Tiger zones, which it expects to continue through December 17. Drilling will resume in January following a brief seasonal pause.
The company is also preparing for a major capital markets milestone: a planned listing on the New York Stock Exchange in January. Roy said this move is in response to “a ton of interest from very prestigious U.S. investment houses,” calling it “a natural place for them to go and have fun buying our stock.”
