Bluebird Mining Ventures (LSE:BMV) shares shed a third, falling to 0.25p, after announcing it had completed its strategic review and confirmed a transition to a gold-focused streaming and treasury model.
The company said the review assessed operations, capital allocation and market conditions across precious metals and digital assets.
Bluebird said it will establish a platform designed to generate long-term value through structured gold streams and direct exposure to physical bullion.
The model includes multi-year streaming agreements and the potential use of Bitcoin as a settlement rail where appropriate.
Sath Ganesarajah, chief executive officer, said: "BMV's new strategy positions the company as a next-generation gold streaming and treasury platform, delivering long-term, compounding value through disciplined reserve growth, structured yield, and direct exposure to physical bullion."
In terms of its existing assets in Korea, the company said its efforts will continue, focused on permits and potential partnerships. It will also consider selective mining-adjacent investments that align with the new streaming and treasury model.
