Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR, OTCQB:RFHRF) president and CEO Nicole Brewster talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest developments across its Victoria and Parbec properties. Brewster attended the Resourcing Tomorrow conference to discuss Renforth’s Malartic metals package and the recently declared nickel sulfide polymetallic resource.
“We have a viable nickel polymetallic resource on surface,” Brewster said, describing the open-pit potential of the project located on a 20km structure. The deposit contains nickel, cobalt, platinum, palladium, zinc, copper, silver, and gold — with road access and hydroelectric power anticipated to keep operating costs low.
Brewster also revealed upcoming testing on the carbon uptake capability of ultramafic rocks in the area. These tests could potentially allow the company to generate carbon credits — possibly even becoming carbon neutral or carbon negative.
Regarding Parbec, Brewster noted recent stripping activity was halted due to early winter, but early indications suggest the exposure of a hinge fold that could represent a gold conduit. The company plans to resume work and continue permitting for a bulk sample in the spring.
Upcoming milestones include platinum and palladium assays using existing drill core and renewed drilling campaigns in spring 2025 at both the copper discovery and the Victoria project.
