Hydrogen Utopia shares climb on Saudi Arabia waste-to-hydrogen venture

Hydrogen Utopia International PLC (LSE:HUI, OTCQB:HUIPF) shares gained 7%, to 4.05p, after it announced that Saudi Arabia’s Research, Development and Innovation Authority has endorsed its waste-to-hydrogen technology as aligned with the Kingdom’s national innovation framework.

The company, in a statement, said the recognition follows ongoing cooperation between RDIA and the Ministry’s innovation sector.

HUI said the endorsement validates the technological relevance of InEnTec’s plasma-assisted system and strengthens its position within Saudi Arabia’s advanced technology ecosystem.

It added that the recognition will support access to ministries, investors and major national projects.

Aleksandra Binkowska, chief executive officer, said: "We are honoured to receive such recognition from the Research, Development and Innovation Authority, an institution whose strategic vision is driving the Kingdom's research and industrial ambitions.

The company said the endorsement is expected to accelerate permitting, partnerships and potential funding opportunities.

It added that alignment with RDIA priorities places its technology within Saudi Arabia’s highest-level innovation framework.
